Duane Musser
NRCA’s vice president of government relations

Duane Musser oversees and directs the association’s work regarding government policy and political matters. Musser joined NRCA in 2008 as senior director of federal affairs and assumed the responsibilities of vice president of government relations in 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pa., and a Master of Business Administration degree from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.

Deb Mazol
NRCA’s director of federal affairs

Deb Mazol has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, including more than a decade on Capitol Hill serving in the House and Senate. Most recently, she served as a chief of staff in the House of Representatives managing teams in Washington, D.C., and the congressional district, as well as the campaign’s political operations. Previously, Mazol served as legislative director for former NRCA CEO Reid Ribble while he was a congressman under NRCA CEO McKay Daniels’ leadership and as a longtime legislative assistant in the Senate focusing on energy, defense and foreign policy issues. In addition, Mazol worked for a top 10 lobbying firm and in a New York-based nonprofit. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has credentials from the Naval War College in Newport, R.I., and Harvard Law School’s program on negotiation in foreign policy.

Teri Dorn
NRCA’s director of political affairs

Before joining NRCA, Teri Dorn spent more than a decade working on Capitol Hill in legislative and management roles for the House Committee on the Budget and several members of Congress, including former NRCA CEO Reid Ribble while he was a congressman. Dorn also has experience in the private sector with an emphasis on the intersection of federal policy with the financial services industry and has attained FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.
